Netflix is perhaps the most famous subscription streaming service in Hong Kong. As of September 2020, it has 34.8 million subscribers in the Asia-Pacific region. Founded in 1997, the streaming service has become a major film distributor, with its original content going on to be nominated in renowned film awards like the Academy Awards. Some of the Netflix titles that took the world by storm include Squid Game, Stranger Things, and Money Heist.
Netflix has become the Kleenex of the streaming world, but while the company behind Stranger Things is the dominant force in online entertainment, Amazon has become a haven for film geeks thanks to its massive array of old favorites and new gems.
Joy A Hong Kong Film Streaming
We don't yet know when The Northman will be coming to a streaming service, but we do have a pretty good idea about which platform the film will be coming to. Thanks to a deal between Uninversal and NBC, The Northman will most likely be arriving on Peacock. So if you only have Netflix and HBO Max, you're out of luck. The film could be available to rent or stream as early as 45 days after it's theatrical release.
It can be easy to forget that foreign film includes all of the same genres and categories we love, from documentary to comedy to horror to thrillers to drama movies. You might mainly know Netflix for TV shows, but there's plenty of must-see cinema streaming, too. These are the best foreign films on Netflix. 2ff7e9595c
